Bueno, aquí os dejo el segundo trabajo de este magnífico grupo formado en Ohio en 1966. El disco apareció en 1968, al igual que el primer trabajo Noboby but me, y a pesar de no contar con ningún supertemazo como la canción que da nombre al primer LP, en su conjunto es de tan buena calidad como aquel o incluso mejor.

Legendaria banda 60´s psych de nueva zelanda que residio en inglaterra a mediados de los sesenta varios temas suyos como ejemplo “ a day in my mind” aparecen rescatados en recopilaciones.y tuvieron cierto éxito en las isla. no les duro mucho, de hecho les hizo rgresar a nz.

En el 68 hicieron La segunda visita que duró solamente tres meses, pero durante ese tiempo conocieron a Doug Jerebine. Él allí registraba bajo el nombre de Jessie Harper. Doug había impresionado a Maurice que compuso cuatro canciones.En su vuelta a Nueva Zelandia, comenzaron a registrar el álbum en los estudios de Stebbing.

While Game Theory had released three EPs between 1982 and 1984, their first full-length album, Real Nighttime, was where the band truly found their voice on vinyl. With Mitch Easter on board as producer, the band was finally working with a sympathetic craftsman who knew how to make the most of the band's sound, and Scott Miller was maturing into one of the finest and most distinctive pop songwriters in America. While Game Theory's most obvious influence was certainly Big Star (the album even features a cover of "You Can't Have Me" that sounds slightly more deranged than the original), Real Nighttime's loose narrative suggested a mid-'80s smart-pop update of Pet Sounds, as it followed a young man from blissful innocence on "24" to crushing romantic defeat on "I Turned Her Away." Always tuneful, and by turns rollicking and heartbreaking, Real Nighttime was the album that announced Game Theory as one of the major talents to emerge from California's Paisley Underground scene.

CD reissue of one and only 1970 album by Freddy Lindquist, who was once member of the Vanguards in 1966, replaicing Terje Rypdal. Freddie could be regarded as the 'Hendrix' of Norway, a true guitar-vinking!! Great fluid guitar rock from Norways leading guitar-prince, next in line to King Terje Rypdal.
